Sr. Mary Thecla Paolini

Sr. Mary Thecla Paolini (Lucy Paolini) of Jamaica Plain passed peacefully on March 15, 2026 surrounded by her religious community at the age of 92.  Daughter of the late Serafino and Julia Paolini.  Cherished sister of Sr. Donna Marie Paolini RSM, Raymond Paolini, and the late Norman Paolini, Robert Paolini, and Elvira Paolini.  Sr. Thecla was a devoted member of the Daughters of St. Paul religious community for 70 years and she was also survived by other loving relatives and friends.  Visiting hours will be held Friday evening from 4-7 PM at the Daughters of St. Paul Chapel (50 Saint Paul's Ave Jamaica Plain).  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday March 21 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel.  Interment at the Daughters of St. Paul Mausoleum relatives and friends invited.  Please in lieu of flowers all donations in Sr. Thecla memory can be made to the Daughters of St. Paul Infirmary Fund, 50 Saint Paul's Ave Jamaica Plain 02130
