Samiaa Tanous, a loving and gentle soul, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023, in Norwood, MA. Born on September 14, 1934, in Kafarhazir, Lebanon, Samiaa lived a life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her family and friends.

Samiaa was the beloved wife of the late Antonios Tannous and a devoted mother to her three children: Sam Tannous and his wife Fida of Dedham, George Tannous and his wife Dareen of Dedham, and Nidaa Melham and her late husband Mel of Norwood. She was a cherished sister to Yacoub Dojiaji and Youseff Dojiaji, both of Canada, Saide Nasr of Lebanon, and the late Fadwa Saad and Salim Dojiaji, both of Canada. As a loving "Tayta," Samiaa was adored by her 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will dearly miss her.

As a homemaker, Samiaa dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing environment for her family. Her kind and gentle nature made her home a welcoming place for all who entered. Samiaa's love for her family was evident in everything she did, from the delicious meals she prepared to the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a constant source of support and encouragement for her loved ones, always ready with a kind word or a warm embrace.

Samiaa's generosity extended beyond her family, as she was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors in need. Her kindness and compassion were a testament to her strong character and the values she held dear. Samiaa's unwavering faith in God guided her throughout her life, providing her with the strength and resilience to face any challenge that came her way.

In addition to her devotion to her family, Samiaa was an active member of her community. She was involved in various associations and organizations, where she generously donated her time and resources to help others. Samiaa's commitment to service was an inspiration to those who knew her, and her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

As we remember Samiaa Tanous, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, kindness, and devotion to family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those she touched.
