Visiting hours will be held Thursday morning from 9:00 am -11:00 am at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home 22 Oak Street Hyde Park. Interment at Blue Hills Cemetery Braintree, relatives and friends invited.
Patricia Gaughan (Dailey) of Hyde Park, MA died peacefully at home with family at her side on Friday, January 17, 2025. Born in Springfield MA, she graduated from Girl’s Latin School in Dorchester and Boston City Hospital School of Nursing. Patricia met her late husband, Edward Gaughan (BPD), while working as a Registered Nurse at Boston City Hospital. After starting her family, Patricia worked as a night nurse at the Parkwell Nursing Home in Hyde Park.
Patricia was predeceased by her son Steven Gaughan formerly of Greenbelt, MD. She is survived by four other children – Michael and his wife Mary Jane of Marshfield, MA, Brian of Hyde Park, MA, William and his wife Deborah of Weymouth, MA, and Barbara of Walpole, MA. Additionally, she is survived by her sisters Carol Devlin of Bowie, MD, Barbara Burke of Brockton, MA, and Geraldine Black of Walpole, MA. Also survived by seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
