Ossie D. (Carey) Paige, known to family and friends as Deanie, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, at the age of 97. She was born on December 11, 1928, in Daytona Beach, Florida. She spent her final days in Framingham, Massachusetts, surrounded by her family.

Deanie was the wife of the late William Calvin Paige, with whom she shared more than 30 years of marriage. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Carey and Clara Davis. She is survived by her brother, Isaiah Davis of Boston, and her siblings Victor Davis, Theresa Swackard, Charles Davis, and Schevella Davis, all of Florida. She was predeceased by her sisters Arlettering Fields and Clara Memory, and her brother Arthur Davis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Deanie graduated from Campbell High School and went on to work as a secretary. She worked for EG&G for several years and later worked for an MIT professor in Boston for over a decade before retiring.

She enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida, New York, and Hawaii. She loved music, dining out, and going to the movies, and she spent a lot of time with family and friends.

Deanie also enjoyed trips to the casino, especially Foxwoods, where she liked playing the slots and spending time with others. She was known for her cooking and baking, especially her rum cake and baked stuffed shrimp, which were favorites among family.

She was generous, lively, and had a strong personality. She loved her family, enjoyed telling stories, and stayed active throughout her life.

Deanie will be remembered for her warmth, her sense of humor, and the care she showed to others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
