Michael A. Ohmstede

Michael A. Ohmstede of Pocasset formerly of West Roxbury passed peacefully in his home on July 28, 2025 at the age of 64.  Beloved son of the late Harry and Mary (Rizzacasa) Ohmstede.  Cherished brother of Harry M. Ohmstede of Providence, Rhode Island and Anne Potts of Walpole.  Loving uncle of Jillian and Olivia Potts and also survived by many loving relatives and friends.  Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home 22 Oak Street Hyde Park Friday morning at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St John Chrysostom Church West Roxbury at 10:00 AM.  Visiting hours Thursday evening from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.  Interment at the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery in West Roxbury relatives and friends invited.  Michael had a strong passion for the ocean.  He loved fishing off his boat especially when friends and family were there.  His greatest love is for his two nieces Jillian and Olivia and he loved spending time with them and watching them grow.  He will be greatly missed.
