Mary M. (Falco) Negrini

Mary M. Negrini (Falco) of Hyde Park, MA and recently of Brockton, MA passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025 with her family by her side. Mary just recently celebrated her 99th birthday. She was born in the middle of a snowstorm on February 3, 1926 to Stefano and Anna Falco. Mary lived on the same street she was born on for 97 years! She was a true “Hyde-Parker”. She went by the names Mudieu, Mud and sometimes Mary!

She married her husband of 42 years in 1946, Irving Negrini of Dedham, MA. Mary was devoted to her family, survived by her three children: Ann Louise Frederickson and husband Warren; Stephen Negrini and wife Maureen; and Mary Alice Dwyer and husband John.

Mary is also survived by her grandchildren: Jessica Downey and husband Mark, Johnny Dwyer and wife Nancy, Kara Negrini, Stephen Dwyer and fiancé Jasyln Jimenez, Patrick Dwyer; her great granddaughters; Bianca Fernando-Negrini and Madelyn Dwyer; cousin Susan George as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her late husband Irving Negrini, sister Louise Dattilio, brother Dominic Falco and longtime partner Mario Stracqualursi. Our extended family includes the Stracqualursi’s: Rick and wife Fran, Roy and wife Mary Grace and Donna Fletcher and husband Jim and all of their children.  

Mary enjoyed her 38-year long career at L.E. Mason Company managing the payroll department. She loved singing with the MPB choir for 40 years. Her second love was Ballroom dancing. Mary was known for reaching out to everyone with a card and/or phone call on their special day. She especially loved to bake and cook excellent Italian food.

There will be a celebration of her life at Thomas Funeral Home, Oak Street, Hyde Park, MA on Saturday, February 22, 2025, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM; Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM at Most Precious Blood Church, Maple Street, Hyde Park, MA.  Interment will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree, MA.  Please in lieu of flowers all donations in Mary's memory can be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org.
