Marine Dolabany, a beacon of unconditional love and nurturing, passed away on September 27, 2024, at the age of 90. She was born on January 1, 1934, in Aleppo, Syria, and departed this world surrounded by the love and warmth of her family after a courageous ten-year battle with Alzheimer's disease. Marine's life was a testament to the power of a loving heart, and her legacy is marked by the countless lives she touched with her kindness and selflessness.

Marine was married to her late husband, Afram Dolabany, and was a devoted wife and exemplary mother. Her love blossomed into a beautiful family, including her children: Abboud Dolabany and his wife Merna, Virgine Dolabany and her husband Daniel, George Dolabany and his wife Aida, Marwan Dolabany and his wife Doralice, Samir, and the late Jack Dolabany. She was a cherished "Teta" to her ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who will forever hold memories of her warmth and care. Marine's family extended beyond her immediate relatives; she was also a beloved figure to numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who survive her, each carrying a piece of her generous spirit.

Marine was enormously strong-willed, always prioritizing the needs of others above her own. Her dedication to her family knew no bounds, and she took immense pride in raising her children and grandchildren. Cooking was more than a hobby for Marine; it was a means of bringing together those she held dear. Known for her specialty—kibbeh—she was always happiest when her home was filled with the laughter and conversation of family gatherings, making sure everyone was well-fed and content.

Courageous in her battle with Alzheimer's, Marine faced the challenges of the disease with the same strength and grace with which she lived her life.

Marine Dolabany's life was a beautiful journey of giving, and though she will be deeply missed, her memory will be cherished forever. As we honor her remarkable life, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit continues to guide us, and her love remains with us always.
