Kathleen A. Kelley of Wayland, formerly of Denver, passed peacefully on October 16 at the age of 78. Kathleen was an adventurous, passionate and compassionate person. She was a recognized leader in her field of cardiology and when not working loved spending time with her family and friends. This included epic getaways, fantastic parties, and her insistence to share the best of the best in everything. We will miss her infectious energy and caring nature.
Daughter of the late David E and Eleanor (Samsevich) Kelley. Devoted sister of Eleanor Hoar and her late husband Bernard of Billerica, Nancy Henderson and her late husband William III of Hull and David Kelley Jr. and his wife Kathy of Westmoreland , NH. Loving aunt of Bernie Hoar, Kelly Ann Kist, Michael Hoar and Christine Dunleavy, Lisa Flaherty, Billie Henderson, Patrick Henderson, Julie Henderson and Tim Kelley. Also survived by her great friends Barbara Watts and Betty Schmidt and many loving grandnieces, grand nephews, in-laws and friends. Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home 22 Oak Street Hyde Park Wednesday morning at 9:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church Hyde Park at 10:30. Visiting hours Tuesday evening from 4-7 PM at the Funeral Home, relatives and friends invited. Interment will be private at families request.
