Joseph Keane Obituary

Joseph Francis Keane of Hyde Park MA (formally of Roxbury) passed away peacefully on August 15, 2020. He is survived by his adored wife Lois (Ryan), brother-in-law Eddie Ryan, his wife Della and niece Tara.
He was the son of Joseph and Veronica Kerwin Keane. “Sonny” as he was affectionately known was the beloved brother of Joanne  O’Halloran and Uncle to Suzanne O’Halloran.
Joe, as friends called him, was a proud graduate of Boston College. He began his career as a draftsman at Anderson-Nichols before rising through the ranks and purchasing the company which was headquartered for many years in Boston’s North Station.
He was an accomplished drummer and had many hobbies which included his love of animals, such as his cat Molly,  and many dogs throughout his life.
Joe was also a big Boston sports fan and enjoyed watching the Red Sox and New England Patriots religiously.
He is survived by many extended Keane and Kenneally family members.
