Janet Perez 2/26/69 - 5/16/26
Janet Perez, 69, "JP" of Boston, found her peace and returned to the loving arms of the Lord surrounded by family, comfort and care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Born in Framingham, she was the beloved daughter of the late Evangelista “Angelina” Perez and Juan Gonzalez. Above all, JP was devoted to her family and took immense joy in being a loving and spoiling grandmother to Sarai Lynn White and Brielle Camille White, cherished daughters of her only daughter, Jeannette Rebecca White, and son-in-law, Ricardo Vernon White II. Her grandchildren were among her greatest blessings and brought light and happiness to her life.
Known affectionately as “the baby” among her siblings on both her mother’s and father’s side, JP shared deep bonds with her family throughout her life. In addition to her daughter and grandchildren, she leaves behind to mourn her passing her loving siblings: Blanca, Linette, Manuel Perez, Gloria Nieves, Nereida Nieves, Jose, Carmen, Rafael, and Luz Feliciano. She is reunited in eternal peace with her siblings (the late Aida Nieves, Nilsa Perez, and Myrna Silverio and brother Alfredo Nieves) mother (Evangelista "Lala" Pérez) and bonus mom (Luz Feliciano). She also leaves behind many adoring cousins, nieces, and nephews who will forever treasure her memory.
After enduring many hardships and challenges throughout her life, Janet’s wishes for peace, comfort, and dignity were honored. Her family takes solace in knowing she is now free from pain, resting peacefully, and embraced by God’s eternal love and grace. Though her absence leaves a profound sorrow, her loved ones find comfort in the belief that she has finally found the peace she long deserved.
Family is welcome to join in celebrating Janet’s life and paying their respects on Thursday (May 21) from 6-8 PM at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home 22 Oak Street Hyde Park. After her cremation takes place a burial of her urn will take place on Wednesday (May 27) at 10:00 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery on Walk Hill Street in Roslindale, relatives and friends invited. She asks if possible for attendees to wear her favorite color Grey or Black if possible
