Frederick J Grenier

GRENIER, Frederick J., Retired Boston Fire Department, of Hyde Park passed peacefully on September 27 at the age of 98.  Beloved husband of the late Bertha (Royds).  Devoted father of Margaret Demers of Quincy, Virginia Grenier Minasian and her husband Kenneth of Hyde Park, Carolyn Collins of Wrenthan, Patricia Fiore and her husband Richard of Norwell and the late Robert E. Grenier, Jr.  Loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.   Fred was a Retired Boston Fire Fighter and a late WWII Army Veternan.  Please in lieu of flowers, all donations can be made to The Charitable Association of Boston Fire Department.  Visiting hours will be held Thursday morning from 9-11 at the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, Hyde Park followed by a Service at the Funeral Home at 11.  Relatives and friends invited.   Interment will be private at family's request.
