Ernest Y. Kuk, better known as Ernie, passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton on June 27, 2023. Born in Hong Kong, China, on October 16, 1964, Ernie was a loving, kind, and courageous man who touched many lives with his generosity, strength, and creativity.

Ernie was the beloved husband of Dana Cronin-Kuk for 25 cherished years. He was a doting father to his daughter, Emma Kuk, and a devoted son to his mother, Yung Wah Yuen, and his late father, Kwun Sui Kuk, both of Hong Kong. Ernie was a cherished brother to Eric Kuk and his wife Magdeline of Hong Kong, Edwin Kuk and his wife Marjorie of Canton, and Elsa Ng and her husband Philip of Australia. Ernie's loving spirit also extended to numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends, who will remember him fondly.

Ernie's pursuit of knowledge took him from graduating high school in Hong Kong to studying at Northeastern College and the Museum of Fine Arts. His passion for photography and art was evident in his studies, and he was always eager to capture the beauty of the world through his lens.

Ernie's professional life was as a Financial Investment Accountant, a role he held until 2014. His career was marked by his diligence, hard work, and integrity. After a stroke in January of 2014, Ernie became disabled, but his courage and resilience in the face of adversity were inspiring to all who knew him.

Despite his health challenges, Ernie continued to find joy in his interests. He was an avid fan of television and movies, always ready for a lively discussion about the latest series or film. His love for photography remained, even after his stroke, as he continued to appreciate the art form.

Ernie will be remembered for his kindness, love, and bravery. His ability to face adversity with a smile, his dedication to his family, and his passion for art and creativity left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Ernie's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones and all those whose lives he touched.

Ernest Y. Kuk, a man of courage, kindness, and love, will be deeply missed. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit, his strength, and his love for life will continue to inspire us. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to us all.
