In Dylan’s short life she had accomplished more than others have in a lifetime. She was a force to be reckoned with. If she believed in a cause, or felt someone was being wronged, watch out, she would advocate with all her heart and soul….and no one can forget when she would look at you and raise that one eyebrow.
Dylan loved sports, played softball (winning a championship) played basketball, soccer, going on runs, and did Irish step-dancing. During her middle years she went through some difficult times and unfortunately turned to drinking which led to drugs. After years in and out of detoxes, her mom sent her to the Plymouth House in Plymouth N.H. which then led her to the Grace House, a sober House for women, started and run by Sarah Coupe. It was her turning point; she thrived there and stayed close with Sarah and her family.
Dylan then worked while applying and getting accepted into college, eventually getting her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science. While attending the University of Southern Maine, she advocated for minorities and women’s rights in her school and enacted policies that will become her legacy.
During her college years, she spent a semester in Scotland which was just one of the many countries and places she visited in her all too short life. She loved traveling and had planned to travel to so many other countries while pursuing higher education.
Dylan’s kindness, laughter, random raps, selfies (she loved her selfies), love of animals, friends, family, those less fortunate will live on in our hearts. The memories of her beastie since birth, Hailee, will live on forever as will with Lauren and countless others. Sammie was her cohort in her later years and Dylan loved her unconditionally. She fiercely loved Spencer and Adalee, whom she met just a few short years ago and they felt like they knew her for a lifetime.
Love you to the moon and back my beautiful girl
