Diana S. Kelley, affectionately known as Auntie Di to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 17, 1928, in Boston, MA, Diana's life was a testament to love, devotion, and faith. She was the beloved wife of the late George M. Kelley, with whom she shared 51 years of cherished memories.

Diana was the loving sister of Genevieve Salemi, and predeceased by her sister Helen Sakakeeny and her husband Augustus, as well as her brother Fred Akikie. She was a devoted sister-in-law to Marie, Fred's wife. Diana's warmth and kindness also made her a treasured aunt to Kaleel and his wife Wendie, Gilbert and his wife Margaret, Richard and his wife Karen, Laura and her husband Tom, Karen and her husband Bill, Cheryl and her husband Fred, and Michael and his wife Lisa. Her legacy extends to numerous great nieces and nephews, as well as great-great nieces and nephews, in-laws, and a host of close friends who all felt the depth of her care and compassion.

Diana's dedication to her career was evident through her more than 20 years of service with the Weymouth Public School in the Payroll Department. She was not only meticulous in her work but also brought a spirit of kindness and cooperation to her workplace every day.

Her interests were a reflection of her generous spirit and deep faith. Diana's heart knew no bounds; she loved and cared for everyone she met, earning her the affectionate title of a Saint among those who knew her. Her culinary skills were legendary, especially at the bazaars at the Cedars of Lebanon Church, where she cooked with love and joy. Diana's religious devotion was unwavering, lighting candles for others every time she entered the church, a practice that illuminated her belief in prayer and reflection.

Those who knew Diana felt uniquely important in her presence, as she had the exceptional gift of making every individual feel like they were her favorite. Despite any challenges she faced, Diana never complained, always finding strength in her faith and the love of her family.

Diana's legacy is one of unwavering love, friendship, and faith. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by the countless lives she touched with her warm smile, her compassionate heart, and her boundless kindness. As we say goodbye to Diana S. Kelley, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a soul that will continue to inspire goodness and love in all who had the privilege to know her.
