Christopher A. Petringa, a loving, kind, and gentle soul, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2023, in Canton, MA, at the age of 71. Born in Boston, MA, on February 28, 1951, Christopher was a devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of many with his warmth and generosity.

Christopher was the beloved husband of Monica (Hebard) Petringa, with whom he shared 29 wonderful years of marriage. The couple's love and commitment to each other was a testament to the power of true partnership and provided a strong foundation for their life together. They created a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

He was the son of the late Joseph and Lucia (Postizzi) Petringa, who instilled in him the values of family, hard work, and compassion. Christopher carried these values with him throughout his life, and they were evident in the way he cared for those around him. He was a cherished brother to Joseph Petringa Jr. of Salem, who will fondly remember the bond they shared and the many happy times they spent together.

Christopher was a caring brother-in-law to Gregory F. Hebard, Jr. of Hingham, Russell Hebard and his wife Lyle of NJ, Elizabeth Cameron and her husband John of Raynham, and Deirdre Hebard of Arizona. He was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, who will always remember his kindness, gentle nature, and the special moments they shared. Christopher's friends were an important part of his life, and he was grateful for the love and support they provided throughout the years.

Throughout his life, Christopher was known for his loving and kind spirit. He had a gentle way of making everyone feel welcome and valued, and his presence brought a sense of comfort and warmth to those around him. His generosity extended beyond his family and friends, as he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
