Anthony Poncia

Anthony Poncia "Tony", of Dedham, formerly Hyde Park, passed on December 3, 2025 at the age 66. Beloved son of the late Joan and Louis Poncia Sr. Loving father to Ninamarie “Meatball” Poncia of Clearwater formerly Ma. Tony is also survived by a number of other family members. It should be mentioned that Tony was cherished by many devoted lifelong friends that can be considered family. John and Ruth Campanella of Easton and Rick Nitti of Worcester to mention a few.

After dedicating his early 20s to the U.S. Army, Tony worked diligently as an expert electrician all over New England. He was a master in his field. He often spoke fondly of his lifelong career working as part of the Signet Electronic Company. He loved all New England sports teams, win or lose and was rarely seen without his Patriots cap on. While raised in Hyde Park he moved to Dedham almost 20 years ago where he came to love the community.

No words can express the gratitude for his amazing friend Christopher Gath and his wife Kerry of Billerica and Bradford Caron, friend and owner of Signet. The amount of love and dedication in Tony’s final month are a testament to the bonds of true friendship. You are all a blessing in his life.

All services will be private. If you would like to honor Tony please turn on some Elvis, Ozzy or Dean Martin and eat a meatball or cutlet for him.

Gone too soon but never forgotten and always loved.
