Anna Patchett Obituary

Patchett Anna M. (Piatelli) of Carver formerly of Hyde Park and Plymouth, passed peacefully on April 1 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Richard L. Patchett. Devoted mother of Richard Jr. and his companion Judy Tarselli of North Attleboro, Roy Patchettt and his wife Linda of Plymouth, Debra Simmons and her husband Kenneth of Plymouth and the late Robert J. Patchett. Cherished sister of the late Leon Piatelli and Rose Martini. Loving "Gram" of 12 grandchildren and Loving "GiGi" of 14 great grandchildren. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in laws, and friends. Anna was a member of the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary.

Anna lived for her family, instilling traditions that will continue to bring generations together. She loved to host celebrations and holiday parties and was famous for her Italian cooking and pizzelles. She enjoyed everything about music whether it was listening live, dancing, or even playing a ukulele. Anna loved getting together with her many friends especially if it included getting breakfast at Kevin’s. For the past 24 years, she made fond memories with the South Meadow Village Community where she lived, and was active in planning many events—some of her favorites included bocce tournaments and trips to Foxwoods and many other bus trip destinations.  A very special thank you to Cranberry Hospice and Old Colony Elder Services for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Plymouth, MA 02369 or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday April 7 from 9-10:30 at Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main Street, Carver, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Carver at 11:00. Please wear a mask and respect social distancing. Internment at Vine Hills Cemetery Plymouth, MA
