Amy A. (Newbegin) Melpignano

Amy A. Melpignano (Newbegin) of Norwood formerly of Hyde Park, passed peacefully on July 23rd surrounded by her loving family at the age of 70.  Beloved wife of Giuseppe Melpignano of 50 years.  Devoted mother of John Melpignano and his wife Tina of Sharon, Maria Melpignano of Waltham, and Michelle Melpignano of Norwood.  Cherished sister of the late Kathryn Roller and Susan Lynch.  Loving "Momo" of Kevin, Isabella, and Sophia.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in laws, and friends.  Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home, 22 Oak Street, Hyde Park Thursday morning at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church, Hyde Park at 10:00 AM.  Visiting hours will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8PM at the Funeral Home.  Internment will be held at Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA.  Relatives and friends invited.
