Alma (DuBois) Lamb

Alma Lamb (DuBois) of Canton, formerly of Hyde Park, passed peacefully on August 11, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 92.  Beloved wife of the late Charles F. Lamb (BFD).  Devoted mother of Sheila Farley and her husband Steve of Hyde Park, Carol Canavan of Tewksbury, Laura Lamb of Hyde Park, Charlie Lamb and his wife Susan of Upton, Edward Lamb of Hyde Park, Kathryn Hannon and her husband Stephen of Westwood, and the late Baby Kathleen Lamb.  Cherished sister of the late Barbara Olds.  Loving "Nana of 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  Alma is also survived by her friend and sister in law Helen Lamb of Canton, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was a proud graduate of Newton High School. Funeral from the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home 22 Oak Street Hyde Park Wednesday morning at 9:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Pius X Church Milton at 10:30.  Visiting hours will be held Tuesday evening from 4-7 PM at the Funeral Home.  Interment at Knollwood Memorial Park Canton, relatives and friends invited.  Alma was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, sister in law, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, who touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth.  Her smiling face will be greatly missed.  Please in lieu of flowers all donations can be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org.
